Frame Information and Care

District Vision bears the CE mark showing that they satisfy the requirements of the European Directive 89/686/EEC as PPE Category 1. Standard of reference EN ISO 12312-1:2013. For our nylon frames, we use TR90-LX for its durable and lightweight properties. This high grade material can be formed to fit your face and features, and will need to be adjusted regularly for the best personal fit. Please see your preferred optical dealer for these adjustments. From normal wear, frames and lenses can accumulate dirt and dust. For a regular cleaning routine, please use a microfiber cleaning cloth and lens cleaner. To protect your eyeglasses and sunglasses, store frames in a cool, dry place. Leaving sunglasses in a hot car can deform the frame and lens material. For the best protection, please store eyewear in the case provided.

Lens Care + Protection

The sunglass lenses fitted to these sunglasses comply with all major international safety provisions for UV- rays, and are designed to protect against sun and wind. These lenses feature high optical precision and are impact resistant according to EN ISO 12312-1:2013 and USA FDA regulation 21CFR 801.410. However, this eyewear is not designed to protect the wearer from all injury or act as an unbreakable shield against impact with a hard object. This eyewear is not suitable for direct viewing of the sun, night driving, or use in poor light conditions. We use many different lens materials and coatings in our collection. Some lenses in the District Vision collection are polarized. Polarization is a film affixed in the lens to block glare from the sun. This does not increase the UV protection of a lens.

For all lenses, please use a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner to remove dirt and dust. If you have a lens coating such as a mirror coating, please keep lenses dry as to not erode the coating. Do not expose your eyewear to harsh chemicals or detergents. Cleaning lenses with anything other than the a microfiber cleaning cloth could result in scratches on the lenses.
