Yusuke Ti Benjamin Védrines, Graphite/D+ Onyx Mirror

Developed in collaboration with French alpinist Benjamin Védrines, who holds the record as the fastest person to summit an 8,000-meter peak, known as an eight-thousander. This version of the Yusuke Alpine Blade Ti features a custom lens with edge ventilation to support airflow at high altitudes. The frame is a six base blade style proprietary sunglass system featuring a frame composed entirely of lightweight and durable aerospace grade titanium. The frame features custom anodized titanium hardware, hypoallergenic rubber nose pads, temple tips, and utilizes our signature D+ therapeutic grade lenses, constructed from a proprietary form of shatterproof polycarbonate. The lens shaping draws inspiration from early alpine and explorer eyewear where the lens acted as a protective shield for the eyes and face. The lens interiors are treated with both anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings for holistic eye protection and water and oil repellency. D+ Onyx Mirror was developed for physical pursuits requiring maximum sun protection. The mirror coating facilitates additional infrared screening. The lens offers 100% UVA/B protection while transmitting 16.19% of visible light and 15.99% of blue light.
